Welcome to Kangaroo Kids Nursery. Our aim is to provide the best start in life for all children – for them to develop and learn in carefully designed surroundings that are stimulating, creative and fun. Every child is unique and diversity is celebrated within our nursery - from the staff to the children, we embrace all faiths, cultures and festivals whilst educating on core British values. We have 2 rooms accommodating children from 2 to 5 years of age, where each room is structured to reflect the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), designed to be accessible for every child. We encourage our children to learn through play, whilst providing support in their learning journey by challenging their thinking and stretching their imaginations.
We accept the 15/30 hours Government funding which all children from the age of 9 months are entitled to starting September 2024. We are proud to have been given a GOOD rating from Ofsted in our most recent inspection in April 2024. A few snippets from the report below:
"Staff strongly support children's speech and language development. Children are introduced to many songs and rhymes from the day they start at the pre-school. They quickly become familiar with them and eagerly join in. Children access a wide variety of books and stories, which they enjoy sharing with one another. Staff read stories in an intimate, animated and engaging fashion."
"Children are well behaved. Staff are kind and consistent role models to children. They warmly praise them and value their ideas and achievements. Staff help children to express their emotions and learn to be tolerant of others. They skilfully reinforce children's good behaviour and establish clear boundaries."

We are currently taking admissions for the new 2024/25 Academic year starting Monday 2nd September 24. We accept the free 15/30 hours Government funding which all children from the age of 9 months are entitled to starting September 24.
