The Leadership Team

At Kangaroo Kids we understand the nursery practitioners play the most important role in the development of your child and that consistency is key. We are very proud to have a core team of experienced and highly skilled practitioners.

Miss Jade - Manager

Miss Jade joined Kangaroo Kids at its inception in 2023, having managed at 2 previous nurseries for a total of 7 years, providing her with a range of different childcare experiences.

“I love watching children grow and develop in their own unique way. It's an amazing feeling knowing you have a part to play in making a difference to a child's life. At Kangaroo Kids our aim is to foster a safe, welcoming, fun environment for children of all backgrounds and to help them grow and develop their emotional & social skills, learning and independence."

Miss Maria - Deputy Manager & Pre-School Room Lead

Miss Maria has been at the nursery for over 30 years, starting as an apprentice and becoming the manager of the nursery under its previous ownership. She has a wealth of experience and has been a key worker for hundreds of children over the years.

“Over the years there have been vast improvements to nursery practices and processes to cater to modern times, however I will never grow tired of watching young children develop blossoming personalities and it’s a privilege to be a part of that journey."

Miss Kamini - Toddler Room Lead

Miss Kamini was also part of the team at the nursery previously, having spent 5 years at the setting before returning in 2024. Her experience with toddlers over the years is invaluable, with a keen focus on getting them out of nappies asap!

“The start of the toddler journey can be difficult, but at that age it's so beautiful to start seeing the first signs of their personality, and helping them to build on that and break new boundaries.”

Miss Silva - Pre-school Room Practitioner

Miss Silva joined Kangaroo Kids in February 2024. She has been a deputy manager in 2 other nurseries and has worked in childcare since 2012. Her experience with her own three children and grandchildren gives her joy in her now every day role as an educator in Early Years.

"I am committed to providing children with a fantastic start in life. They should thrive, learn and feel happy in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Every child deserves the best care."
